SDR Monoblock
The project is to do with SDR which mainly is the collection of HF board with external frequency control, band filters, power amplifier and external sound card.
The project is an attempt to design the single board (aka, monoblock) SDR tranceiver which will have RF connector to aerial, power socket to supply the power and USB interface for audio and CAT.
Home Automation
The project grown from the water underfloor heating, which has been installed at my brand new house. House uses 14kWt heatpump by Buderus and 600m of underground pipes to collect the heat. The requirement to have extra control over the heat distribution in house along with the heatpump controller is obvious: you cannot really save on bills if you are not able to control each room individually.
This project uses ARDUINO based controllers with added network interface and RTC.
FPGA Radio
The project uses Cyclone II FPGA by Altera in attempt to design fully digital HF Tranceiver.
Clocked at 80MHz FPGA used to implement DUC/DDC, PIC microcontroller for local frequency control and indication. Audio DAC/ADC are external. RF ADC/DAC are by Analog Devices. The board is double-side only.
